 | Hernández Razor-Sharp, Shuts out Astoria Monday, September 26th, 2016 Joplin pitcher Pedro Hernández blanked the Astoria Argonauts 5-0, tossing a 2-hitter while issuing 2 walks and collecting 7 strikeouts. After his sharp shutout performance, he said that he gives a lot of the credit to his batterymate. "Me and him are just locked in out there. He's so great at having a feel for hitters. I couldn't do what I'm doing without him." This year Hernández has a 15-8 record with a 4.18 ERA in 31 starts. |   |
