 | BCL Trophy Goes to Mitchell of Detroit Monday, September 12th, 2016 Joe Mitchell is respected by most Detroit Death Stars fans for his no-frills style of play. The 24-year-old left fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Blake Camden League Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .480 average (12-25) with 3 home runs, 7 RBIs and 6 runs scored. This season Mitchell is hitting .364 with 36 hits, 5 home runs, 21 RBIs, scored 20 runs and played in 26 games. |   |
