 | Argonauts Evans Named BCL's #1 Player Monday, August 22nd, 2016 Astoria Argonauts right fielder George Evans walked away with the Blake Camden League Player of the Week Award today after putting up some impressive numbers over the past seven days. "The Argonauts fans are really behind me right now," said the 23-year-old. "That helps. They give you the confidence to go out there and do better." Evans batted .414 (12-29) with 3 home runs and 8 RBIs this week on his way to the award. This season Evans has hit 31 home runs and posted a .288 batting average. |   |
