 | Jason Rankin Hurt, Out 8 Months Saturday, August 20th, 2016 Fort Worth Cats starting pitcher Jason Rankin left yesterday's game against the Astoria Argonauts after suffering a torn rotator cuff throwing a pitch. Rankin was taken to the clubhouse for examination by team doctors. A team spokesman told BNN today Rankin is expected to miss 8 months. So far this season, Rankin has logged a 6-14 record with a 4.87 ERA. He has started 31 games, hurled 136.2 innings and registered 106 strikeouts and 72 walks. |   |
