 | Smugglers Chill Silva's Hot Streak Tuesday, August 2nd, 2016 César Silva's sizzling streak was snapped at 20 today as the Antioch Coal Miners dropped a game to the Bristol City Smugglers 2-1 at The Coal Mine. Silva failed to get a hit and went 0-for-3. After the game Silva spoke with BNN and said, "This was quite a streak. I just ran into some good pitching today." This year Silva has socked 127 hits in 454 at-bats for a .280 average with 11 home runs. He is getting on base at a .339 pace and his totals also include 59 RBIs and 85 runs scored. |   |
