Kiichi Amano, the Albuquerque Cacti 22-year-old first baseman, put himself in the spotlight last week making him the clear-cut choice for Kade Stenson League Player of the Week honors. He ripped 11 hits in 19 at-bats, compiling a .579 average with 3 home runs and 5 RBIs. So far this year in 84 games Amano is hitting .253 with 18 home runs, 53 RBIs and 47 runs scored. |   |
