 | Gonzáles and Maldonado Suspended for Free-for-All Friday, June 24th, 2016 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Leningrad-Philadelphia contest at Bulldog Stadium. The Communists Tomás Gonzáles and the Freedom Fernando Maldonado will have to sit out 3 games for their part in the brawl.
So far this season Gonzáles has hit .250 with 5 home runs, 20 RBIs and and scored 32 times.
This year Maldonado has collected no saves in 18 relief appearances. He has also compiled a 0-1 won-lost mark with a 2.70 ERA and fanned 13 batters in 23.1 innings. Opponents are hitting him at a .224 clip in 2016. |   |
