 | Week's Premier Player: St. John's Hoover Monday, May 23rd, 2016 So far in his young career, Bill Hoover has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Kade Stenson League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 25-year-old St. John Stingrays catcher hit at a torrid .433 clip as he collected 13 hits in 30 at-bats, 3 home runs, 15 RBIs and 7 runs scored. This season Hoover is batting .303 with 8 home runs. |   |
