 | Hits Galore: Flores Drills 5 Hits Friday, May 20th, 2016 Today at Golden Fleece Park, the Astoria Argonauts fell to the Minneapolis Freeze despite a splendid performance by second baseman Bernardo Flores. He had an exceptional day at the plate, tagging Freeze pitching for 5 base hits, but not enough to come away with a win. Minneapolis whipped Astoria by the score of 7-5. Bernardo Flores singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Flores is batting .342 this season in 39 games with 2 home runs, 22 RBIs and 30 runs scored. He has 53 hits in 155 at-bats. |   |
