 | Miller 5-5 for Death Stars Saturday, May 7th, 2016 No matter what the Philadelphia Freedom threw at him today, Andy Miller hit it. He easily handled Freedom pitching, going 5 for 5 and helping the Death Stars to a 7-6 triumph at The Death Star.
He told BNN reporters in the postgame interview, "The way I was swinging today, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball."
The Philadelphia skipper quipped, "Well, the next time we might just do that... blindfold him... and then pitch him differently, just to be sure."
Andy Miller hit a solo-shot off Joe House in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, walked in the 7th and hit a two-run double in the 9th.
