 | 5-7 Day for Perry Sunday, April 17th, 2016 It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Tim Perry. It was a very special day, one that many players never experience. But he did. Perry went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off Durham pitching. When the dust settled on the diamond at Durham Bulls Athletic Park, he had a career 5-7 day and something he will long remember. And the Indian Wells Aeropostales had a 9-7 victory over the Bulls. "Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he joked in the postgame interview. Tim Perry hit a two-run home run off Ken Forley in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, grounded out in the 9th, singled in the 12th and hit a solo-shot off Kurt Wiggins in the 15th. Perry has a .303 average and a .378 on-base percentage for the year. He has picked up 10 hits, 3 home runs and driven in 9 runs. |   |
