 | League Suspends Diablos Bowers 4 Games Saturday, April 16th, 2016 Nathan Bowers, catcher for the El Paso Diablos, will be getting a few days off the hard way -- a 4-game suspension for aggressively arguing with an umpire in a recent game with Fort Worth. After being called out on strikes, Bowers stood toe-to-toe with the home plate umpire and hotly contested the call. Apparently he got too close to the arbiter and was ejected from the game, allegedly making contact with the bill of his cap. "I don't remember billing him. I don't remember doing that," Bowers told BNN today. So far this year, Bowers is batting .179 with no home runs and 1 RBIs. |   |
