 | 5-6 Day for English Saturday, August 15th, 2015 The Bulls whipped the Banditos 16-9 at Underdogs Ballpark and Zak English had a big hand in the win. The Bulls center fielder came to the plate 6 times and collected 5 hits. It was a good day for English and a tough day for Acapulco. "I just go up there and whale away and hope it hits the barrel of the bat," he said. "There really isn't any plan." Plan or not, English delivered today -- 5-6 is outstanding in any league. Zak English struck out in the 1st, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 6th, singled in the 7th, hit a two-run home run off Todd Wilson in the 8th and singled in the 9th. Presently English is batting .311 with 23 hits and 5 home runs. He has knocked in 19 runs and scored 15 times. |   |
