 | Hernández Toys with Reno Sunday, August 9th, 2015 Joplin hurler Pedro Hernández was at his best as he whitewashed the Reno Raiders 5-0 today. "He just kept the ball down, did a good job, made his pitches," said the Reno manager. "We didn't do a good job making adjustments, so we helped him out a little bit." Hernández fired a 4-hitter and totaled 3 strikeouts and no walks in the shutout performance. Hernández has made 13 starts, tossed 74.2 innings, struck out 51 batters and walked 24. His record is 2-3 with a 5.30 ERA and he has limited other teams to a .285 batting average. |   |
