 | John McPhee to Miss 9-10 Months Friday, July 17th, 2015 Minneapolis fans will be disappointed to learn that John McPhee suffered a torn labrum while colliding with a player at a base in today's game. After the doctor informed the Minneapolis Freeze manager that McPhee was expected to miss 9-10 months, the manager told the press that the rest of the team would have to step up their play until the second baseman could return. "You can't make excuses in baseball, because there's always a game tomorrow," said the team's skipper. McPhee has collected 90 hits for the Freeze this year, 3 of them home runs. He has also netted 31 RBIs and scored 51 runs while batting .289. |   |
