This promising rookie first baseman for Philadelphia garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 23-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .389 (7-18) with 5 home runs and 9 RBIs last week. Thus far this season in 61 games Bernard is batting .253 with 12 home runs, 31 RBIs and 33 runs scored. He has 57 hits in 225 at-bats. |   |
