 | 5-Hit Blitz by El Paso's Ramírez Monday, April 20th, 2015 On top of the El Paso hit parade today was Ricardo Ramírez. He went to the plate 5 times and marched away with 5 hits, sparking the Diablos to a 12-8 victory over the Acapulco Banditos. The sweet swinging third baseman told reporters, "Each time I went to the plate, I was thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere. When I focus on that, I usually have quality at-bats." The skipper of the Banditos wailed to the press, "Too much plate. Not the way we planned it. Any hitter in the league will rip you when you do that." Ricardo Ramírez hit a two-run single in the 1st, doubled in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Thomas Brown in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 8th. This year Ramírez has 1 home run and a .327 batting average. |   |
