 | González Top BCL Starter in September Wednesday, October 1st, 2014 Arturo González hasn't been around the big leagues long enough to know that youngsters shouldn't be winning Blake Camden League Pitcher of the Month. But when you put up numbers like his, you're going to get some notice. In September the Chicago starter earned a 4-1 mark in 6 starts. He threw 42.1 innings, struck out 21 and compiled a solid 2.13 ERA. Presently González has a 13-12 mark in 32 starts with a 3.76 ERA. He has given up 174 hits in 189.1 innings, struck out 100 and issued 100 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .243 batting average against him. |   |
