 | Schneider Takes This Week's Trophy Monday, September 8th, 2014 So far in his young career, Steve Schneider has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Kade Stenson League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 24-year-old Bristol City Smugglers second baseman hit at a torrid .440 clip as he collected 11 hits in 25 at-bats, 4 home runs, 15 RBIs and 5 runs scored. This season Schneider is batting .273 with 70 hits, 14 home runs, 53 RBIs, .355 OBP and has scored 39 runs. |   |
