 | 20 Games in a Row for Taylor Thursday, August 21st, 2014 Fireballs right fielder Doug Taylor is really on a roll. In today's game at The Firepit he came up with 1 hit in 4 at-bats and extended his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games. But the Coronado Phantoms came up winners on the scoreboard and topped Joplin 6-2. Doug Taylor struck out in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Bruce Jefferson in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and flied out in the 9th. So far this year Taylor has 20 home runs and a .275 batting average. |   |
