 | Armstrong Toys with Antioch Saturday, July 26th, 2014 Speaking after the game, the Detroit manager said, "Scott Armstrong had everything going for him. He changed speeds effectively, stayed down, had a lot of movement... he had it all... masterful." Armstrong held the Antioch Coal Miners to 2 hits and fashioned a fine 9-0 shutout. He had 2 walks and 5 strikeouts in the game. "We couldn't get anything going. He certainly had our number," the Antioch skipper told reporters. Thus far this season, Armstrong has tossed 92.1 innings in 13 starts, fanned 69 batters, walked 33 and put up a 2.83 ERA with 7 wins and 3 losses. |   |
