 | Death Stars Halt Kogawa's Hit Streak Sunday, July 6th, 2014 After 21 games, Mashashi Kogawa had his hitting streak ended abruptly today by Detroit at The Death Star. The Mustangs third baseman failed to get a hit in 3 at-bats and his brief fling with fame has come to a halt. But Kogawa seemed to care less -- it didn't matter as Billings took a 4-2 victory from the Death Stars. Kogawa didn't dwell on the streak saying, "It was good while it lasted. If it had to end, I'm glad it ended with a victory." So far this year Kogawa is batting .327 with 4 home runs, 17 RBIs and 14 runs scored. |   |
