 | Free-for-All Costs Sánchez and Stone 6-Game Suspensions Sunday, May 4th, 2014 Hot tempers flared and a few punches were thrown at the Indian Wells and Mdewanketon game yesterday and ended up with two players ejected. Juan Sánchez of the Aeropostales and Kent Stone of the Sabercats have now been reprimanded and issued 6-game suspensions by the league commissioner for their parts in the fracas. This season Sánchez has hit 1 home run and posted a .217 batting average. To date in the season, Stone is 1-0 with 14 relief appearances and no saves. He has held opposing batters to a .135 average, pitched 15 innings, struck out 24 and walked 3 while recording a 3.60 ERA. |   |
