 | 5-Hit Blitz by Joplin's Simpson Saturday, May 3rd, 2014 Joplin third baseman William Simpson really sparkled with the bat today against the Bumblebees. He led the Fireballs to a 6-5 win over Pasadena by going 5-for-5. William Simpson singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Scott Spencer in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. So far this season Simpson is hitting .250 with 3 home runs. |   |
