 | R.J. Lukies Hurt, Out 3-4 Months Tuesday, October 16th, 2012 Whether he wants it or not, R.J. Lukies of the Boston Cardinals will be getting some R & R -- rest and relaxation. The reliever was hurt in today's Cardinals-Jokers game while throwing a pitch. Team officials announced after the game that Lukies had suffered shoulder inflammation and would be out of action for 3-4 months. This year Lukies has registered no saves in 77 relief appearances. He has also compiled a 5-2 won-lost mark with a 0.97 ERA. In 92.1 innings he has fanned 111. |   |
