 | August's RCL Batter of Month Award Announced Saturday, September 1st, 2012 Steve Frend has a lot going for him. The Seattle right fielder just broke into the majors this year and now the Roberto Clemente League has just picked him as its top hitter for August. In 27 games last month, this outstanding rookie batted .495 with 11 home runs, 34 RBIs and 39 runs scored. Frend is currently batting .394 with 36 home runs and 121 RBIs. |   |
