Toreros Center Fielder Carlisle Hurt
Wednesday, August 1st, 2012
The Cabo San Lucas Toreros were dealt a severe blow when Dave Carlisle was hurt making a defensive play recently in a game against the Boston Cardinals. After the game, the team trainer reported Carlisle might have to spend a lengthy time on the disabled list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 27-year-old center fielder out for the rest of the season with a broken bone in the elbow. They indicated it would take Carlisle at least 4-5 months to heal.

Batting .339 to date, Carlisle has 2 home runs and 34 RBIs.
