 | RCL Trophy Goes to Burris of Nottinghamshire Monday, May 28th, 2012 23-year-old Danny Burris sent shock waves through Adult Baseball League last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Burris made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .563 average, 18 hits in 32 at-bats, no home runs and 6 runs batted in. Where the Nottinghamshire Outlaws second baseman goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Burris certainly made his mark last week. This season Burris is batting .352 with 1 home run. |   |
