 | Bandits Chris Collins Hurt Tuesday, September 20th, 2016 The Montreal Bandits were dealt a severe blow when Chris Collins was hurt running the bases recently in a game against the So Cal Republic. After the game, the team trainer reported Collins might have to spend a lengthy time on the disabled list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 35-year-old left fielder out for the rest of the season with a broken kneecap. They indicated it would take Collins at least 5 months to heal. Collins is hitting .325 this year with 25 home runs, 109 RBIs and 100 runs scored. He has 196 hits in 603 at-bats, 61 walks and a .384 on-base percentage. Collins has played in 150 games. |   |
