 | Seattle's Rose Shuts Out Republic Friday, September 2nd, 2016 Seattle starter Kent Rose really did a number on the Republic today, shutting them out 10-0 on 5 hits in a complete game victory. He issued no walks and had 4 strikeouts.
In his postgame comments, the So Cal manager said, "We didn't have good at-bats. I don't make excuses, but when we were playing the game, our energy didn't show. That comes from either extremely good pitching or extremely lousy hitting... seeing as our team has a bunch of pretty good hitters, I have to tip my cap to Kent... he did an outstanding job today."
To date this season Rose has compiled a 14-10 record with a 4.07 ERA in 29 starts. | |
