But when you put up numbers like his, you're going to get some notice. In July the Eureka starter earned a 4-0 mark in 6 starts. He threw 35 innings, struck out 33 and compiled a solid 1.80 ERA. To this point in the season, Smith shows a 9-4 record, 21 starts, 118.2 innings, 111 strikeouts and a 2.96 ERA. |   |
