 | TML Player of the Week Goes to Cain of Jacksonville Monday, August 1st, 2016 25-year-old Floyd Cain sent shock waves through Adult Baseball League last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Thurman Munson League Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Cain made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .542 average, 13 hits in 24 at-bats, 2 home runs and 5 RBI. Where the Jacksonville Jacks second baseman goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Cain certainly made his mark last week. Thus far this year Cain is batting .226 with 8 home runs, 30 RBIs and 39 runs scored. |   |
