 | Jacks MR Madrid Out Thursday, June 30th, 2016 The Jacksonville Jacks will have to make do without Gilberto Madrid for 5 months. He suffered bone chips in his elbow while throwing a pitch in the game today against the Eureka Hornets. His teammates, understandably, were upset about losing the reliever. "That's a tough break for him," one of them said. "But this team is resilient. We will just fill in until he gets back." For the season Madrid has made 31 relief appearances, recorded 1 save, compiled a 2-0 won-lost mark and a 5.16 ERA. In pitching 29.2 innings, he has totaled 26 strikeouts and 6 walks. |   |
