 | Eureka's Butterfield Down with Injury Wednesday, June 1st, 2016 Whether he wants it or not, Royce Butterfield of the Eureka Hornets will be getting some R & R -- rest and relaxation. The starting pitcher was hurt in today's Hornets-Bombers game while throwing a pitch. Team officials announced after the game that Butterfield had suffered a herniated disc and would be out of action for 2-3 months. On his stats sheet this season Butterfield shows a 2-4 record, 11 starts, 60.1 innings, 50 strikeouts and a 4.62 ERA. |   |
