 | Jacks Chill Shelton's Hot Streak Monday, May 16th, 2016 The Jacksonville Jacks got more than a 4-3 victory over Maple today at Skellington Stadium. They put an end to Anthony Shelton's 20-game hitting spree by holding him without a hit in 3 at-bats. But it was no big deal to the Marauders left fielder.
Shelton seemed to feel more for his team than himself.
"I had some great looks at some pitches that I should have hit. I missed some that I shouldn't have swung at. All in all, I wasn't much help with the bat today."
Shelton's current batting average stands at .218 and he has chalked up 5 home runs and 16 RBIs. | |
