South Carolina's Henry Injured, Out of Lineup
Sunday, May 8th, 2016
The South Carolina Bombers learned that Cal Henry is likely to be out for 7-8 weeks after he injured himself throwing a pitch in today's game against the New York Mafia. A round of tests by the team doctor revealed the injury to be an oblique strain. Upon hearing the diagnosis, the South Carolina manager told the press, "As you all know, we can't control injuries -- they are a part of the game. We just have to do the best we can until Cal is back in action."

This year Henry has earned 2 saves, made 16 relief appearances, fanned 26 hitters in 21.1 innings and posted an ERA of 1.27 and a 1-0 record.
