 | Becker Sidelined for 4 Weeks Saturday, May 7th, 2016 Watching Tom Becker getting helped off the field today at McNichols Stadium, fans of the Washington Capitalists feared the worst. The news wasn't quite as bad as initially feared, but the left fielder will miss 4 weeks with a sprained ankle. "We feel we've dodged a bullet. When you see a guy break down like that, you worry right away," a team spokesman said. Becker suffered the injury colliding with a player at a base in the game against the Mustangs. This year Becker is hitting .352 with 8 home runs. |   |
