 | Baker Hits for the Cycle Wednesday, April 20th, 2016 In Washington's 7-3 win today at Staples Field @ The Rose Bowl, P.J. Baker roughed up So Cal pitching in a big way. The 22-year-old center fielder hit for the cycle, rapping out a single, double, triple and home run. "What a good day! And my parents and family were here to see it, too," a beaming Baker said after the game. "I really got some good looks today and delivered. Sometimes you're just locked in." He finished his historic day with 5 hits in 5 at-bats, 4 runs batted in and 2 runs scored. P.J. Baker singled in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Brad Austin in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, hit an RBI triple in the 7th and singled in the 9th. This season Baker is batting .500 with 28 hits and 4 home runs. He has scored 12 times and has 13 RBI. |   |
