 | Week's #1 Player: Las Vegas's Yamamoto Monday, April 18th, 2016 23-year-old Katsuhiko Yamamoto sent shock waves through Adult Baseball League last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Thurman Munson League Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Yamamoto made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .414 average, 12 hits in 29 at-bats, 4 home runs and 11 RBI. Where the Las Vegas Jokers left fielder goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Yamamoto certainly made his mark last week. |   |
