 | League Suspends Boston's Bell Thursday, March 24th, 2016 Following an intense confrontation with the home plate umpire in which he was ejected, Cardinals center fielder Jamie Bell was suspended 3 games by the league. Bell had to be physically restrained by his manager and appeared to make a few threats toward the umpire. He was upset by a called third strike in a game with Jersey at The Royal Court at Jersey Yards. Bell could not be reached for comment on the suspension. |   |
