 | Bailey Holds Cabo San Lucas Scoreless Friday, October 9th, 2015 Before the game Charles Bailey liked his chances and his instincts proved to be right. In a superb outing the Earthquakes pitcher whitewashed the Cabo San Lucas Toreros 5-0.
Bailey said in the clubhouse afterward, "I just had a feeling it was going to be my day. My control was awesome. I could throw my curveball even when I was behind in the count."
The San Francisco starter held Cabo San Lucas scoreless, giving up 1 hit while registering 4 strikeouts and issuing 3 walks.
"We didn't have very many good at-bats," the Toreros manager said in his postgame interview.
"When that happens, you usually lose."
On his stats sheet for the year Bailey shows a 13-13 record, 31 starts, 210.1 innings, 183 strikeouts and a 4.49 ERA. | |
