 | Week's Premier Performer Honored by TML Monday, September 21st, 2015 26-year-old Hideyori Kiyomizu sent shock waves through Adult Baseball League last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Thurman Munson League Player of the Week Award.
A newcomer to the league, Kiyomizu made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .400 average, 8 hits in 20 at-bats, 3 home runs and 5 RBI.
Where the Cabo San Lucas Toreros first baseman goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Kiyomizu certainly made his mark last week.
This year Kiyomizu is batting .350 with 196 hits and 41 home runs. He has scored 122 times and has batted in 110 runs. | |
