The Montreal catcher was 3-for-4 in the game. After the game, Shields commented on his 20-game hitting streak. "I'm not doing too much, just trying to get the bat on the ball and put it in play." His manager said, "Tim makes it easy for me to pencil his name in the lineup every day."
