Just ask Joe Leftwich, the Washington right fielder, who swung a sweet bat all week to not only aid his team, but also pick up the Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week honors. Leftwich piled up 17 hits in 29 at-bats, 3 home runs and 5 RBIs while hitting .586. For the season, Leftwich is hitting at a .345 clip with 23 home runs, 68 RBIs and has scored 83 runs.
