 | Great Stroke: Andrews Gets 5 Hits Saturday, May 9th, 2015 Carolina second baseman Scott Andrews could do no wrong in today's 16-5 win over the Toreros as he collected 5 hits.
"In every one of his at-bats things were in his favor... he got hitter's counts," the skipper of the Toreros said to the press corps after the game.
Andrews agreed. "The key is getting ahead. Once you get ahead, it makes it a lot easier because you get a better pitch to hit. You know the pitcher has to come in with it. And you're ready."
Scott Andrews singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, struck out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
This year Andrews is hitting .323 with 31 hits, 2 home runs, 14 RBIs and has scored 14 runs. | |
