 | Turner Strokes 5 Hits Saturday, October 4th, 2014 Bill Turner really sizzled at the plate in today's 11-0 win over Berserkers. The San Diego center fielder blistered Minnesota for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. "Turner was too tough to get out today," the Berserkers skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Bill Turner singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th. Turner currently has a .306 batting average with 15 hits, 1 homers, 5 RBIs, 8 runs scored and a .306 OBP. |   |
