 | 5-Hit Blitz by Blanchard Monday, August 18th, 2014 It was an almost perfect day for Peter Blanchard today at The Frozen Tundra. The Berserkers first baseman was sensational at the plate with 5 base hits in 6 tries, it just wasn't enough to beat the Jersey Jesters. They spoiled his great day with a 9-8 win over Minnesota. Peter Blanchard singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, flied out in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Jack Mosley in the 7th, hit a solo-shot off Cisco Sánchez in the 9th and singled in the 11th. This year Blanchard has hit at a .353 clip with 93 RBIs, 31 home runs and 89 runs scored. |   |
