Injury Takes Toll, Chris Collins Out
Wednesday, August 6th, 2014
Baseball can be a contact sport at times. It can exact a harsh toll on a player's body. In a recent game against Carolina Crush, Bandits right fielder Chris Collins was injured running the bases and is expected to miss 3 weeks with a strained posterior cruciate ligament. The team did not announce any roster moves today related to this injury. The Montreal skipper told BNN that personnel decisions would be announced as early as tomorrow.

Collins is hitting .378 this season with 25 home runs, 101 RBIs and 81 runs scored. He has 168 hits in 445 at-bats.
