 | Player of the Week Trophy to Leftwich Monday, June 2nd, 2014 Joe Leftwich of the Washington Capitalists has just enjoyed one of the better weeks of his career. That fact was not lost on Roberto Clemente League officials, who named him Player of the Week. Leftwich logged a .583 batting average for the Washington Capitalists, racking up 9 RBIs and 2 home runs. This year Leftwich is hitting .395 with 10 home runs and 36 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .484 clip and scored 43 runs. |   |
