 | LF Watkins Receives 5-Game Suspension Sunday, May 18th, 2014 A press release issued by the league stated that Gunners left fielder Mike Watkins was suspended for "confronting a game official" after yesterday's Texas-Seattle at Sick's Stadium. In the statement the league said, "This is totally unacceptable behavior and will be dealt with harshly." Watkins had a run-in with the home plate umpire during the game and was ejected for vehemently objecting to a third strike. Watkins is hitting at a .246 mark this season. His stats show 1 home run, 7 RBIs and 10 runs scored. He has played 17 games for the Gunners. |   |
